Chaitanyayoga shaala was established on 5th Jan 2014, with a sole vision to make Yoga possible for everyone by offering a combination of in depth and flexible drop in classes. Practicing Yoga consistently leads to a disciplined life, and disciplining oneself is the key to a better living. We teach all forms of Yoga to all age group people helping them to cope up with the stressful and demanding challenges of life and enabling them to overcome many health problems, life style diseases without any medication.

Suma Sreehari is the founder of Chaitanyayoga shaala and is one of the lead teacher at the shaala. She belongs to Mysuru and is an eternal student of classical yoga.
Her journey of yoga started under the supervision of the yoga teachers at Shantivana trust, A Yoga and Naturopathy center and now have eight years of rich yoga experience.
Her experience says “For the longest time in my life, I was of the opinion that Yoga involves a set of exercises where holding certain postures for a few seconds was the main objective. I used to think of it as a regime meant for those who were keen on building their flexibility. It took me quite some time to understand the mechanism of different asanas and their efficiency but I must tell you, all the understanding of it was enlightening, affirmative and so gratifying”.
In the year 2008, she struggled with obesity, weighing around 103 kgs. Her yoga experience came handy, with the help of healthy yoga regime, walking and balanced diet she could help herself.Now weighing 73 kgs She is a proud yoga practitioner and claims that yoga did bring good awareness of healthy lifestyle.
Later on, in order to pursue her passion, she decided to become a professional yoga teacher. She completed 250 hours of teacher training under the guidance of Yogacharya Bharat Shetty from Yoga Indea Mysore.
Through this creation, she wants to reach out to the local community and spread her knowledge of yoga as she deeply believes that yoga is accessible to all.
Chaitanyayoga shaala was established on 5th jan 2014, four months hence, Suma Sreehari met with an accident fracturing her right leg tibia bone and was bedridden for 11 months. During this period she practiced yoga therapy, stretching and breathing, which greatly benefited her. Soon after that, she resumed teaching in Oct 2015.
